Using Environmental Psychology to Increase Productivity
Problem: Remote employees have reported working in stressful environments creating fatigue and lack of focus resulting in missed deadlines, and a 15% decrease in work performance.
Solution: The goal of this training is to increase productivity by 20% utilizing environmental psychology (the study of humans and their relationship to their environment) with the principles of feng shui, an ancient Chinese practice of arranging things to create positive energy in the workplace.
Audience: All Everest & Associates remote employees
Highlights: The course includes scenarios, interactivity, chunking, and knowledge checks.
Process: In developing the environment psychology e-Learning course a systematic approach was employed. This would have started with a needs analysis with SMEs to determine the weaknesses and learning goals and to determine the appropriate modality for this training. In the design phase, a comprehensive design document was crafted to outline the structure and interactive elements of the program. During the development phase the course came to life using interactive simulations with Articulate Rise 360. Upon completion, this course would be published and implemented in adherence to the compliance framework of the company.
Evaluation: Evaluation following the Kirkpatrick's Model would ensure participant engagement, knowledge retention and behavioral changes aligning with Everest and Associates' goal of a 20% increase in productivity using environmental psychology in the workplace. Assessment of performance with multiple choice evaluations, follow up with managers thirty days later, as well as, on the job observations.
